Our front office staff has cared for patients for more than 20 years, Dr. Leonard Tyko has served the community for more than 27 years, and several members of our clinical team have dedicated decades to the practice.

Our clinical team regularly participates in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Assistant (OMSA) training and certification, sedation education, emergency preparedness exercises, and continuing education. These programs help ensure that our team remains current with the latest standards in patient monitoring, anesthesia support, surgical assisting, and emergency response.

Our surgical assistants focus exclusively on oral and maxillofacial surgery, allowing them to develop extensive experience in surgical procedures, patient care, and anesthesia support. This specialized training helps create a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for every patient.

Anesthesia safety is especially important to our practice. Both Dr. Leonard Tyko and Dr. Jason Rogers serve as anesthesia evaluators for the State of California, helping ensure oral surgery practices throughout California maintain the highest standards of anesthesia safety, emergency preparedness, and patient care.

Our anesthesia monitoring equipment, emergency medications, and surgical equipment are routinely tested, inspected, maintained, and updated to ensure they meet or exceed current standards. We also maintain rigorous sterilization and infection-control protocols that exceed minimum state requirements. Our office undergoes independent evaluations from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and other compliance bodies, providing an additional layer of accountability and verification that our systems, processes, and safety measures meet the highest standards.
